Is It Ok To Play A Bass Through A Guitar Effects Pedal?
Yes. You won't hurt anything. Whether it'll sound good is another issue which only trial and error will tell.

I am a bass player. I love the sound of her bass on THIS MONKEYS GONE TO HEAVEN. Trying to figure out what model bass and year she is playing. And also discover if the cool sound is from the bass played CLEAN or with EFFECTS? Any other Alt/ Indie Rockers out there know the answer for me?
Hey i want to get some pedal effects or something like that, but im not sure which ones. Ive looked on alot of music store websites, but i have no idea which one is best for what sound i need. Any good ideas on some good effect pedals?
More specifically, can I use the Digitech BP-80 Bass Multi Effects Processor with my electric guitar? Or will this break it? I just want to know, because that pedal has soooooo many cool effects built in! Thanks
I play death metal. What are the most essential electric bass guitar effects for metal music. I was think distortion, chores, and wah. What you this brand, make, model?
I'm looking to buy either a fuzz, or some sort of synth pedal for my bass. Anyone have any ideas?
Bass guitar effects pedal?
I am looking for something (presumably an effects pedal) to make my bass sound distorted, fuzzy, buzzy like type thing (terminology!?!?).
Basically like in "The Raconteurs - Salute Your Solution" - about 25 seconds in.
Please see this link to see what I'm trying to get at:

Thanks for any input!
I play both guitar and bass and would like to buy either a Zoom G2.1u (the guitar effects pedal) or the Zoom B2.1u (the bass one). I can only afford one of them but i don't which is better, to run a bass through a guitar effects pedal or a bass through a guitar pedal. Any idea's?
